| http://www.shalomlife.com/eng/8130/The National Film Board of Canada will debut a documentary about Canadian rapper Josh Dolgin – a.k.a. “Socalled” – tomorrow on the YouTube Video Rental Service in the U.S. The “Socalled” Movie was directed by Garry Beitel and shot in Montreal, New York, France, and Ukraine. It features such musicians as Katie Moore, Fred Wesley, C-Rayz Walz, David Krakauer, Matt Haimovitz, Arkady Gendler, Benjamin Steiger Levine, D-Shade, Gonzales and Irving Fields, and is described on its website as “a kaleidoscopic portrait, offering 18 entertaining short films about Socalled’s creative process.” | |
